Havent had so much trouble from an app EVER! First 5 minutes of every episode I can not hear the words. Which is crazy to me since the commercials run perfectly. I have given this app several trys. It ends up the same way every time. Frustrated.

I tried to watch Archer twice on this app only to EPICALLY fail both times! I AirPlay through AppleTV and at a EVERY single commercial break, theres an error when going back to the show. The only solution is to exit and come back into the show, only to watch the same commercials over and over again. Its the worst streaming experience ever!!

For those Who left a bad review maybe they should change their slow service provider. The app has nothing to do with how slow your internet is this app works excellent

I can honestly say that this app works pretty flawless for me(comcast subscriber), but I cant say the same for the Xbox One app, PLEASE UPDATE THAT APPLICATION! It crashes A LOT! Ive talked to MS and Comcast, its not on their end. So please SOMEONE take a look into this, because speaking with friends Im not the only one.

worked fine with my previous cable provider. new provider not compatible. this is a issue with the network and cable company.

Fx is the reason I upgraded my Dish and the app makes it even more worth it. Currently on vaca in beautiful Iowa (if you can imagine) and was able to watch some of my favorite movies on my iPad. Ive had no issues with the app itself so far! Highly recommend, Fx youre awesome!

I can actually watch an episode of something on here now. That is a vast improvement over not being able to watch anything and/or two things playing at once. The interface is still abysmal, the top and bottom of the video is cut off when watching clips on my SE, the width of the video is still too wide so I cant access all of the features or scroll all the way to the end of a video. Why is a tap for sound button necessary? I dont understand who is making this interface. They clearly either dont have a designer on staff, the designer is awful or they just simply dont use the app themselves. Commercials come in at the wrong time, the random feature is not random, I mainly random on the Smart TV app but I thought Id complain here too. I am glad that there will be monthly updates but still, really? Its been a while.

The app simply turns the iOS display black when using AirPlay. Tapping the screen to bring up playback controls not only does absolutely nothing, it actually reversed the playback of the content being streamed via AirPlay! The only reason to use this poor excuse for an app was because the Apple TV FX app simply didnt have the up to date programming available elsewhere on their platforms.

I only use this app to chromecast, not that its good at it.

This app definitely has a lot of room for improvement. The app is slow and not responsive like it should be, even on newer devices. Also, when casting to Chromecast, the video quality has to be improved. It looks pretty terrible right now. Also, live TV should be available for casting. I cant see why this isnt available right now. Please fix this app. Thank you!

I had to use this because FX, God knows why, made the final episode of The People vs OJ disappear from the ATV app (which works fine). Very painful experience. Each time there was an ad break, the app crashed completely. Each time it crashed, I had to start over and try to manually scroll to where we were watching. Sometimes it would crash again. I have a current model iPad, so its not that Just a terrible app. Deleting it now.

Poor. This app is poor.

As with all things, improvements can be made.. But overall, the app works just fine for me. I have a few shows that I watch on FX and I havent had any major issues with the app. The only real issue that I may have sometimes is when the app decides to crash on me, other than that.. Its fine.

FX produces some great shows but this app makes watching them almost unbearable. I would liken using this app to watch FXs programming to going to a fine restaurant and having ones meal served on a dirty dish with a broken glass for ones beverage and bent utensils for eating. The app has been buggy and slow for as long as I have used it. In some ways it may have gone some improvements, but it is still plagued by numerous, consistent issues. I am surprised that this app does not offer a brief rewind feature, something which is standard on most other video apps I am familiar with. One of the biggest problems with the lack of that feature is that one cannot reliably back up for for a discreet portion of the video. If one needs to rewind just after commercials have played they may find that they are forced to watch all the commercials just viewed a second time prior to continuing with the program. Rather then being able to back up for a few seconds to catch something I missed in the program I have been watching I now find myself writing this review as I have to re-watch the commercials myself. While Im here I would like to mention that the closed-captioning feature on this app will not disable for me regardless of whether or not the closed-captioning is turned on. Worse yet, the closed-captioning often displays near the top of the screen, usually over characters faces. The issues I experience with this app make for a very subpar viewing experience. It is difficult to understand why FX would settle for this kind of poor quality in their playback.

Tried to watch the latest episodes of archer. I missed one part and tried to rewind and see what I missed. After 15 minutes of commercials (again), I couldnt even rewind to see what I missed.

I downloaded the app and I have never been able to open it

This app is frustrating to you. Once you log into your service provider it does not save the password for future use and it quickly kicks you out. I went to pick up lunch and I was already singled out and had to start the show from the beginning. It doesnt remember where you left off and it doesnt have continuous play from episode to episode. The developers could learn from other network apps.

I hate this app. Hate. Took me 1.5 hrs to watch 22 minutes of Archer because the app would crash every......EVERY commercial break. And then take two reboots to come back. Xfinity and FX...I hope that you get what is coming to you

So far so bad. I downloaded this solely to watch baskets and by the fourth episode regardless of Internet connection, the App will freeze crash close-- any technological possibility of fracturing the experience of watching episodics will happen. I hope they come up with some sort of update that remedies this otherwise, well Im just fearless enough to delete it.
